One night a group of us were hangin out at the local street races. I was talking **** about this stupid riced out camaro, you know, supra style wing that was about a foot too tall, big 5" tips, stupid wheels.... Opps, the owner was standing right behind me. He asked if I wanted to race him, to prove that his car was cool. I was like Okay :smirk: .... I have a 65 bug....with a 12a rotary/weber 48IDA/header/magnaflow muffler. He thought it was going to be an easy race. We pulled up to the line, The people watching were laughing....at me (it a vw bug for god sake) boy were they suprized when I took off! The other guy just sat there spinning his tires, and I was going like a bat out of hell! I pulled on him till the very end, he didn't catch up to me at all!! I then slowed down and stopped, and the other guy just kept going. He didn't come back. 
I think the point here is that if you race and win a bug, nobody cares. But if you lose to one, you gotta feel like ****
