can i remove it?

is that true? i hope that i can just take it off its such an eyesore.

yes it's true, S5 6PI and VDI run off the airpump for actuation. S4 uses exhaust backpressure.

no, not if you remove the airpump.



You can rig up electronic actuation with some solenoids and a rpm switch, this has some nice advantages anyways, you can tweak when VDI and 6PI come on.

how would i go about rigging up the electronic actuation and how much would it run me?

or you can pull off the airpump and then rip out the 6th port sleeves like vosko and i did on the gxl i had.
