AFM Re-"moval"

yeah im not sure itll work well with flapper door s4 style afm.



most of the cars i see with it ran like that are nissans with the hotwire maf thing going on.

the hot wire type AFM is not a big restriction anyways the ungodly AFM on s4's is the biggest crap in the world speed density(MAP) should have been the industry standard

well then its probably a good thing I am using an S5 AFM. I didnt think it would work too well with the S4 flapper style just because of the way the flapper operates. Well, thanks for all the input on the subject, its helped out a lot.

Actually, if you don't mind a little work, you could ditch the AFM and switch to a hot wire MAF if you follow this guy's instructions (without going standalone):
