Act Clutch
#1
Im am currently looking at the ACT clutch; like some other people are , yeah you Nick lol. I wanted to know if anyone has it and what feedback i can get from them on its performance. I know ACT is one of the best clutches out there but i know people have their own opinion. so i would greatly appreciate feedback on the ACT ZX2-HDSS Clutch it retails for $386 but ive found a coouple of sites that have it for $305.00. By april when i have my spring break im going to convert it and if im doing the tranny why put in the old clutch why not just put in a new one right. Kill two birds with one stone. Thanks

yeah i was thinking bout the lighter flywheel but i dont want it too light i want something more reasonable like in the middle . But there are very expensive and i think i will put a hold on that. I dont want my boy to change his mind hes doing the tranny conversion for like $150, throw in some heinekins and some weed and im set, and thats including labor and all the other stuff like counter balances and what not. I got low funds right now. I get paid like $200.00 every two weeks from Autozone and that moneys goes in transportation for shcool , phone and insurance so im left with $20 lol. ANyways ill look into those flywheels thankz

I have the one people call a street / strip clutch in my FD. It is the heavy duty pressure plate and street disc. Works fine so far, similar pedal feel to the original. Don't really notice a difference. I haven't abused it yet, you won't be testing the limit very hard either with an N/A. If you are getting it all for $450, jump on it. Cost me nearly 3X's that.
