Ok, so i registered my car where my brother lives, which just so happens to be a non emissions city :bigok: . Now, my abs light has come on 2 times since i've had my car. None of the times could i tell any difference in the breaks and the fluid levels are all good. I couldnt figure out the reasoning behind this, so i figure i will kill 2 birds and take it out. My question is what exactly is all involved in removing the whole system? I have a diagram i can go by, but if i dont have to rip EVERYTHING out, i dont want to. If I take the abs out, where do all the nice break lines goto? etc...

And my next question is about the airpump. Can i just remove the air pump, or do i have to do other things to get it all to work in harmony?

ABS pump is a pain to remove. i would just leave it until your pump starts leaking.

air pump you can just remove. do you have cats on the car still ?

its a turbo with cats still on it. I gotta buy the rb exhaust ... i was gonna one day, then i got fed up with my stock sound system and ended up buying alot of goodies for that... so the money i had saved for the exhaust is gone now lol

The ABS can come in hnady sometimes. So you may want to fix it if possible.

I wouldn't screw with the air pump untill you get the exhaust for your car. And when you order the exhaust buy the block off plates for your car (ACV, EGR, and split air pipe).
