nice 88 conv. great compression...runs terrible rich at idle and at speed. have a SECOND 88 conv that runs fine... changed out airflow meter, throt pos sensor, map sensor water temp switch, aux air valve, injectors... no dif... left OLD parts on second car and it STILL ran fine... fuel press reg seemed weird so i drilled it out...car THEN ran ok... SO bought NEW fuel press reg... same problem... CHECKED fuel press...with drilled out reg press 19 psi and car runs fine...w/ new reg press is 34 and same problem... so something is telling the car to be rich and the low fuel press just offsets the curve enough to compensate... I am seriously stumped...

also...have a fresh bruce turrentine rebuilt 13b w/ flywheel still in shrinkwrap. 950 plus shipping . 1 yr warrantee..

please contact steve at steve@stmartin.com with any advice or questions...i am really frustrated....

I'm moving this to the second gen section for better responses.
