$600 For Front Cover Removal?

I have successfully changed the front cover WITHOUT removing the pan. It requires a bit of "finesse" to get it past the interfering combo of the dowels and pressure relief, but it is do-able... I removed the pan bolts that go into the front cover, then used a very thin gasket scraper to separate the pan gasket from the cover. It separated cleanly enough to seal just fine with a thin film of gasket sealer applied to the cover on reassembly.



It may not be the recommended way, but it can be done!
