Ok so i was just going over my car looking for rust and just checking things out and i came across two things that i don't know what are. First, what is this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...Picture084.jpg (the white cylinder thing) its right under the headlight on the passanger side. Second, what is this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...Picture085.jpg, its under the car under the headlights on both sides. Third, can i just hose down my engine bay or will it ruin things, if not, how do you clean it? Thanks

 

i dont know what the first thing is. the second is the manual light raiser, twist and it goes up or down. i wouldnt reccommend using a hose unless you have all of the electronics out. i cleaned my bay with "blue coral" "simple green" and some other degreasers and alot of time and elbow grease. you could if get all the electronics covered up and safe use a pressure washer i imagine, correct me if im wrong.

 

the white cylinder thing i think is the silencer thing for one of the air control things on the motor, i forget i threw it out a long time ago tho.

So its not important becuase i am trying to go through and get rid of anything i don't need.

i think its the silencer for like the airpump or something. but double check in the fsm or whatever. mines in my shed and my car ran fine.

I use engine cleaner and a water hose on my car all the time with nary a problem.
