I know most of the WORK wheels in 18 the offsets suck for FCs, forget Blitz in 18"

driving the car home tonight the 17s feel so good, they fill up the wheelwell great too

I really think I need to get over this "bigger is better" mentality about this subject

ive always heard 18s on fc's just are a no-no from comfort to handling to looks.

i've always thought 17 as the biggest for fc's and 18's for fd's.

keep thinking bigger is better, but in the other direction... WIDER not taller.

but sell me those fn01's

what coilovers? the brand and settings are very important, but yea normally even the softest coilovers make it feel like driving an fd aka kidney buster.

thats why i cancel coilover plans for my fc, gonna go with custom valved struts and custom springs, found a connection in that field not too long ago

i just read about the super now fc, its faster on 15's...

as for the ride, the shock spring combo makes or breaks it. we used to run 320/220ish rates and it rides really nice, and still handles nice.

17s do look bigger than 17s when on an FC anyway. People can't believe that I've got 17s, they always comment on how they look bigger than they are.

If you're after faster acceleration go 15s or smaller

Grassroots Motorsports did a tire test reasonably recently using a BMW 325 which uses FC appropriate tire sizes. They found 17's to be faster than 18's using the same brand and width of wheels and tires. Enough said.

I'll take the Tein's off your hands...they would improve my suspension setup 300%.
