I love some of the terms in the writeup...
So I will clear some of them up
A/C compressor
High pressure side line (thinner of the two one goes to the compressor)
Low Pressure line (same as above but thicker)
Condenser (located in front of the radiator)
Reciver/dryer or Accumulator (little 12 oz can thingy he mentions, has a glass eye in the top of it)
One thing not mentioned is the use of safety glasses, not only is there R12 or R134 gas in these systems but there is also refrigerent oil in these components as well. Be careful not to drip on the paint.
The A/C evaporator is under the dash and really does not need removal unless your going for as much weight reduction as possible.
The biggest thing as he mentioned is safety folks, if there is any freon left in the system you might take it to a local A/C place and see what they say about evacuating the system for you. There are a few reasons to do this, one most service places can recycle the gas so that those of us that use R12 in systems will not have to keep paying these massive prices for it, it is no longer produced so what is left is all we have

There was nothing in my system, at all. I think I saw one drop of something, maybe.
I removed my condenser without messing with my oil cooler. I just removed my hood latch, and the brace that connects to the hood latch. 3 bolts total, I think, and super easy.
And my car does not have the overflow bottle in the front, so I don't know how this would work for those of you that do have it in the front.

ok to speak about removing the condenser (between radiator and oil cooler)
it's much easier then people say.
Just get all the crap out of there, i left the condesner till last.
now the lines that are coming from the condenser siomply bend so they're vertically aligned with the condenser (so they dont stick out)
now simply push near the bottom (form the top tho) and get the condesner off the oil cooler. there's a metal linging that basically hangs the condenser on the oil cooler. Once you push it off the top simply push the condenser down towards the ground.
mine popped out in 5 seconds basically.
a/c removal required about 45 minutes mainly due to removing the cooling unit inside the car, which was a bitch.
