Security system removal

How would I go about removing the security system from my car? the stock security system that is. It gets annoying listening to those beeps while testing things out. Can anyone give me some insight on how to remove the blasted thing? Thanks

what years the car? 88 you can unplug a box, and its not there, power locks if you have em, still work.
on the 89+ you basically have to keep it from arming, because the alarm is built into the cpu. on mine i have the inner door handle unplugged, and that seems to be working
