I blame 99.99% of the problem with faulty installs or NOT READING THE MANUAL.

The Haltech explicitly states to disconnect the fuel injectors and coils when changing settings - I bet most people don't do this.

Also, that thread was on an E6X - sorry, I have zero experience with them, and I'm jumping from the E6K straight to the E8 soon.

be glad you skipped the e6x, its ok, but its not as good as the k was. seems really sensitive to wiring issues too, which is not helped by the crappy harness they send you, you're really better off using a 15year old mazda harness, then the haltech one, as least for the cas.... thats my opnion though, paul and i had zero problems with the x, but we used a factory harness, everyone else has had big problems, and used the haltech harness.

So, you have an 20B in your FD?? Sorry if this was covered before..

I would like to see this "neat-o K2rd box".

What is your take on E11?? I'm now debating about getting this or not?? My 20B project will take another year or two.. so, I'm now thinking I should just wait.. Unless I use the E11 with my 13b... which I'm not sure it could be used (I'm still a newb).

i had a 20b/e11 in my fc, and this project is an FC vert/20b, we wanted to keep the stock ecu, but its not cooperating.

you can use the e11 on a 2 rotor, they run really nice.
