Thats the latest of Dragons news.Besides his DD FD.
Not tuning anymore until he builds the ported motor, which should be in the next week. 16psi is the stopping point for now, no point in going higher, because there is no more power to be had on the stock block.
I think the problem is not the power they want....it's the power they can put down. I dont' think Chris wants to run Slicks to drive the 20B.
As a comparison ... Chris first got the 20B running... we went out driving so he could get his driving range down... I had to BOOST .2 kilos to keep up...and he was under vacuum the whole time. Lots of torque for a rotary....lots

I'm going to shoot for 700ish with a nice side port 233.3 hp per rotor shouldn't be too hard to come by..
Hell I have to fight the steering like this
already, so the car should be pretty uncontolable the way I like it with 700 hp and tork for days. We have a race in 3 weeks, so i won't have time to put in the side ported engine and break it in and then tune it by the race, so I'm just going to put on a smaller ex housing so it'll boost faster and race it the way it is for now and then put the built engine in somtime around the new year.. I'm currently making a aluminum oil pan for the new engine that should hold around 8 qts of oil and getting ready to port the new 13b rotor housing as well as do all the mods to them so they will work in the 20b.

Well, got conned into tuning again last night. It's hitting 12-13psi now. It is really starting to feel nice. The boost comes up over 1000rpm's later with the 1.30 than with the .96 exhaust housing, but that will be fixed with the side ported motor. The damn microtech works nice except for one small problem. Every time I make a change in a 5000rpm block, when I move to the next block it skips to the other fuel map page. It's starting to drive me crazy!
I'm assuming (too lazy to read back!) you have a big turbine wheel.
I have a big Garrett thumper here which is going on when I rebuild, & I have 1.75, 1.51 and 1.32 turbine housings for it. 1.75 would be good for Wangan
My Tech has done that 5000 thing too, occasionally.
Staying on after power-off is another occasional trick they have done since the very early days too.

Wow I'm Xtremely late in checking out this thread. Dragon great work. I could see your hard work and determination in starting and finishing your proyect. Must have been a wonderful experience at times

So what rpm does the 1.30 come in compared to the 0.96?
