I got a bunch of genuine Mazda bolts today. Mostly engine to tranny, with a few others for good measure.

Do you know the length and size of that bellhousing bolt that sits infront of the starter? It doesn't bolt to the starter it just joins the tranny and motor.I need one to put my starter back in on my T2 swap.

Thanks jeff

Oh, I think I understand your accented typing skills now. You need the one that fits below and in front of the starter because with out it, you could put the starter in, but it wouldn't really be too good to do. I see. Ok, I have a couple I could go take a look at.

The tranny is 70mm long down there and the threads need to extend 20mm beyond that (into the engine). 90mm total length under the bolt head is what you need.

Oh yeah, 10mm x 1.25. It probably needs to have a 14mm head because the hole to fit a socket is pretty tight. Your best bet would probably be a real Mazda bolt.

I'm going to try to get a picture of the bolt. It's going to look a little weird... the picture, I mean.

The one on the left is a little too long. The middle and right are fine.
