Ok, I'm making two posts, since I've got some ?s now... this post is just about the update.

On friday, i went and grabbed the trailer, tossed the car on it w/ some help w/ some friends and dropped it off at my buddy's place where we were going to get the car running and do the bodywork/paint job.

After dropping the car off, I drove an hour and half up to my apt. to grab my roomates car ('91 na/turbo rx7) and bring it back to his parents place where he could work on it more. So needless to say, friday night streched to 4AM sat morn, lots of towing, but it was fun..drove around w/ two 7s.

Anyways, next morning..my buddy catches a bunch of **** from the property owner and says the car (my FB) has to be gone that day. Even though TONS of junk and other cars sit around for months, but my car cant sit for a weekend? BS... so after stressing about it since I already dropped the trailer back off to my GF's Dads' friends' place (lol, i know..) I didn't have a way to transfer the car.

Ended up working on the car at my buddy's place anyways...he took the heat for me from the property owner and all was "good" for now.

What I accomplished:

- Cleaned up ignition wires/wiring in general

- Installed holley mani, carb and brackets, etc

- installed fuel cell

- installed fuel pump, lines and fpr

- worked on brakes, etc

Car did startup and run, but I'll post my issues in another post so I can hopefully get some insight from you guys.

Side note, my buddy cant do the bodywork, so i'm bringing the car to the same guy who did my FC, but its gonna cost me $$$$.

Here's a shot of the final product thus far... I still haven't relocated the battery as I need to make a base plate for the fuel cell to cover the spare tire well... so for now, the battery stays..its a cheapy anyways.

Starter was crossed wrong and we had three batteries in the car before figuring that out..damn Amber Light Ultra! ...

Also, stock mani/exhaust parts for now, didnt have time to fab up the headers...

A few interior shots/details.

The line coming off the top of the cell is the vent, FYI.

We only used one mounting point because we didn't have time to make the plate to cover the spare tire well, and we were just trying to get the core stuff up and get the car running. We are NOT using the holley pump as planned ..we didn't have a cap we needed, but my buddy had an extra regular 6psi pump laying around that worked great.

I have other pics, but nothing terrific...

She runs though...thats all that matters, may have issues, but we'll work 'em out.
