I cleaned up my front cover some. I haven't been able to find fittings at a store I can walk into yet...so hopefully I'll be able to find the fitting I need tomorrow and start drilling...

You will want to drill and tap it for 1/2" NPT.PM Iotus on here.He has a part number for a fitting that will all you to make your return line installation alot easier than mine was.

There's no way you can tap that area I circled. There's like MAYBE 1/4" of material there!



Please help. Does anyone have a pic of a 12a cover with this oil return line on it?

But is there any difference in the width of the cast at the point on the 12a vs the 13b? It seriously doesn't LOOK like I could tap that area and it hold up, you know what I'm saying?

I'm pretty sure I bought the wrong kind today...you can see it in my GenD post.

You can also drill it and then weld a fitting to it rather than tap it if you don't have the hardware.

I think I'm going to tap it in a different location because apparently the 13b and 12a front covers differ in that exact spot...there's more material to tap on the 13b front cover.
