Upgrading Suspension
#1
So for when I have my FB up and running, anyone got any suggestions for suspension? I am looking for something in the way of shocks that will be adjustable, and not cost an arm and a leg, and some springs to lower 1.5 to 2 inches. Also, any good brake companies that make rotors/pads for the FB? Hint: I am going to use it for auto-x

Tokico shocks/struts (They offer adjustable and nonadjustable)
Racing Beat Springs or Suspension Techniques makes some too I think
I'd highly recommend getting a front strut tower brace, as it really stiffened up my car and made it much more stable in the front.
There's a mod (I found on the 'net and haven't done yet) to do to the rear suspension that is supposed to help with the "snap oversteer" common in FB's. Has something to do with changing the geometry somehow...I have a writeup at home and can scan it in if you're interested, just PM me.
You can get camber plates for the front suspension. I'd do that if your getting really serious about racing/autocrossing.
As for brakes, I haven't gotten to that part in my project yet, so I can't offer much info.

For that much lowering you might want to look into Racing Beat's struct tower extensions. They're not expensive, and will give you a big drop in ride height without taking away your suspension travel. I've used them before; they work pretty well - just watch the wheel to ball joint clearance.

I've got a nice budget setup on my GT-X.I am running tokiko hp struts and shocks with suspension techniques springs. My hooker 4 pt. rollcage is on its way now too. Should be able to keep up with exotic sports cars now.

i have tokiko illuminas and some mystery springs (i think cut stockers painted blue?) it handles pretty well.
take off the rear sway bar, it gets easier to drive
i also found removing the strut tower bar got rid of a lot of understeer, to my suprise.
