I'd stick with the GSL-SE, then.

S4 T2 trans is holding up like a champ.

The -se rear is holding up also BUT I only have 205 series tires on the rear so far.

I don't think the -se is any stronger than a 84-85 12a lsd rear. Just different ratio.

So then is it even worth it?

Also, what else am I gonna need for this swap?

You use stocker mounts. Not the K2RD ones.Just use the Se mounts and crossmember if you start with a 12a car.

Exactly. Not worth the swap unless you're going completely different.

Ask Directfreak or setzep about the amount of parts needed to make this swap right.I had DF's but can't find it right now.ITs a LONG list.

Setzep taught me everything I needed for the swap. It's in the 1st Gen Archive on the Big Forum

Alright thanks a lot guys.

Where would I find a GSL-SE crossmember and mounts? I was thinking it might just be easier to order the stuff from K2RD unless you all had any ideas.

I will let you know how this thing plays out.

12a 13b, basically the same thing. only 10mm difference in the front support brace mount thingie holes, or someting like that. when it was time to install my rebuilt engine we had 3 or 4 front supports, 1 13b 3 12a, i still dont know if teh one that was used was the right one or not. i know we changed it twice just to make sure it wasnt a problem. it wasnt.

the big thing i guess would be a gslse oil pan.
