This pic shows your carby and some of the hoses off it.

This shows your air vent solenoid location and also where some of your hoses are.

Thanks mike.

Thats pretty funny, I didn't expect that. I only set that site up yesterday so I could link pics to posts.

Oh well. I'm not paying, if you can, just go to my site until I can find a free site that does allow remote linking.

My Webpage

F**k I hate free hosting, popups and ads and restrictions

I'll get back to you.

Ok, I've put the images up under different names now, but I've not linked them to here so that you can just see them on my page. Who knew? I can't believe they actually check that **** and then replace your pics with that crap. Anyway, they are now called choke.jpg and solenoid.jpg (I wont link them just in case) I'm now going to do a little bit of work so I don't get fired, then I'll go hunting for a free host that allows remote linking. Then I'll make that other page a splash page, or something. I apologise to Hereonout for any inconvienience.

Did you check out the mitchell manual? Even if it doesn't say anything specifically about your problem, it gives some good diagrams to show you what bits and pieces your looking at. :wiggle:

A guy at my other work (non-rotary mechanic) asks if you've tried changing your plugs to make sure your firing properly? I still reckon that it sounds awful similar to my vacuum problem. I had a hose snapped off my charcaol canister too. Nasty business, got the car cheaper though, and fixed it in about two minutes. First thing I look for now if one of my cars starts running dodgy is a whooshing noise under the hood, or basically any bits of hose that may have fallen off or come off under pressure.
