Wow now dont i feel like a little ******* idiot. its not that it has too much fuel (dumbass) it has too little, its not getting enough.....solution? pump or filter right?......what if i have no filter. or at least its not where its suppose to be, so therefore i cant find it.......help .

new fuel pump fixed all the problems. but car wont run unless choke pulled out....timing and idle mixture?

So it runs finally???My 83 ran with the choke pulled untill the engine warms up the the choke retracts and it idles normal.You might want to try adjusting the Air/Fuel mixture.Glad to hear the beast comes to life.

LoL good, much easier to keep track of not so many. oh and just to clearify, the fuel pump fixed it for about 15-20 minutes, then i cut it off to go eat, came back and the **** had hit the fan, again....so it was temporarily fixed.....

Is the pump still good or what else could it be???Is it lacking fuel again?

i forget how they have it, in the gsl-se's they have a filter after the pump. you may want to look at all the lines and the filter and stuff, maybe theres crap in the gas tank?
