TII swap

I have a 1984 gsl-se i have the TII motor and tranny mounted into it already.... My question is what do i have to do with the wiringharness i have the TII harness and ecm but i am unsure of how to install in my vehicle to allow it to run properly..

Since I did standalone there might be a few things that I am missing but this will at least get you started.



1. If you have an SE there is a harness that enters the passenger side of the car. All of this can be eliminated. If you have the T2 harness already you can feed it through the firewall. Go through all the T2 schematics and find what wires you need.



2. IIRC you can run a S4 OMP on a SE front cover. Since I have a REW I do not know for sure though. If you run a S5 OMP you can just have it plugged in and sitting in your car somewhere and just block the OMP off and pre-mix. If you do not have the OMP plugged in it will send the car into limp mode.



That is all that I really know about the T2 motor as far as wiring goes. There are many others here that are more privy when it comes to stock wiring. Maybe they will chime in.
