Throttle Cale Length
I'm not sure on the length, but you can buy them at mazdatrix for about $30.

thanks but I dont need another stock one. I need one with a different connector on the end, and all Mazda cables use the same one. I already called Mazdatrix and they didn't know either...
I will be using a Holley carb and I cant really find a way to hook it up. I'm not sure aN FC cable would work either, because it has the stock T-end like mine already does...I guess I'll have to pull it out and see...
That's a good idea...I tried somethink like that, with the stock linkage from a 12A carb, and I dont know if it will work (probably not), but I am waiting to try it before buying a new cable....
What I've figured out is two flat pieces of 1mm thick sheet metal, about 1.5 to 2 inches long, with a hole near each end. Bolt them together on the carb so both ends are nearly snug. Then the T end of the stock cable will fit into the holes on the end of the metal pieces. Then snug the bolt down (but not too tight!) and use a another nut to counter tighten them so they'll stay and won't come loose. That's what I'm going to do on my Edelbrock. I even found a piece of 1 to 1.5mm thick metal bracket to use (it even has holes that look like the right size for the T).
