I didnt look from the inside, I'll do that for sure. And also I have 1000+ in the bank for repair funds I figure I can do most of the work myself or have my friends help(then I just have to pay for food).

Thank you guys again for all the great advice

Well, I bought the car. I spent 1000 instead of the 800 I wanted to but I will save 150 dollars in transport costs because the owner has agreed to deliver the car to my house. Now my next challenge is getting a car with 6 in. of ground clearance up my driveway with a 8-10 in. curb.

Oh, and before I bought it I had the owner send me pictures of the car with carpet and vinyl on the wheel wells out and every thing is clean no rust at all even under the spare tire. and I got paperwork that the car had the apex seals replaced 10000 miles ago and I have the dates of all the oil changes and service invoices.

before you do shomthing on your new car, buy a starting spray. then at home you need an assitant, you get in your car put contact on then pull out the choke, then let your assistant open up the carburator and let him or her spray in it at this thime you pump several thimes on the gas pedal 6 or more then start with your feet on the floor, good luck

Congrats on taking the rotary plunge! Sounds like you have some work to do, but starting with a decent car as a base is important, and it sounds like you are doing that. Enjoy it!

Gsl not working hasent been driven, probally been sittin in a field huh? lol thats my case , turns out fireing order was wrong and yeah bad gas , accept rust from the gas tank.

I have a 1984 GSL that wasent run for a year check my garage out lol. But I think you should deffintly buy it.

A few idings can be fixed and trust me if you get it and restore t, itll be your only car for life.

Just get it to your house. trouble shoot it as much as you can and start from there. Go for it
