I'm looking for a straight pipe designed to bolt from a 12A header to the mid pipe. Does anyone sell such a pipe?

Racing Beat sells the mid pipe but it goes after the presilencer. Check out the website

http://www.racingbeat.com/FRmazda1.htm

When inside the site, click on the arrow on the left and then go down to exhaust systems

So nobody makes a straight pipe to connect the header to the midpipe? I'd rather not use a presilencer unless it is a durable hi-flow type.

I haven't seen one unless it is custom made. I wouldn't go that route (custom made)unless the shop specialises in rotaries. The Racing Beat presilencers are very good,, or just have one pipe from header to muffler.

if your motor is not ported, then the RB presilencer will flow more than enough for you and i would advise using it.

if you feel you must get something with a larger diameter, then ask RB about the Gen II presilencers they have OR look into using a Magnaflow muffler as a pre ... your problems with these routes may be having to get flanges and flares to bolt the RB midpipe to them.

No race shops in your area that could custom bend a straight pipe for your car?
