Straight Pipe Piping Diameter

What size should i use when i have my straight pipe made up i was thinking 2".

you should go 2.5 from the engine, then if you are getting a y-pipe made go 2 1/2 or 2 1/4 for the y-pipe.

I agree with rob on this one.I had 2" straight from my header back.Overkill loud.You need a good 2.5" pipe to keep the noise down.Good gains on my NA tho.

Ok 2.5 sounds good. Im getting no y pipe made though rob, im just bolting it up to the stock cat back for now. I know it will be loud maybe it will help me shell out the cash for the racing beat catback quicker.
