How safe is this????I've seen it done many times online but I'm wondering about safety issues.Does anybody know the years of 'stang that have the 4x108 pattern?I think it's 86-93 but not quite sure.

Thanks!

I've seen mustang 4 bolt rims on non-SE cars. They say it bolts to the hubs and rear but its a tight fit on the lugs.I'm just wondering how safe this is.In spring theres usually nice wheels for sale from mustangs and wouldn't mind getting bigger wheels.

i use to have a gsl with 1990 mustang 5 spoke wheels and the fit ok but you cant put too wide or tall tires. the tire i had was 205/45-16 front, that the widest you can go in the front and 225/45-16 rear

Yeah I know about the clearence issue I'm just wondering about how safe it is because the patterns aren't a exact fit.

i never had any trouble with them and i had then in the car for 2 years plus what ever the last onwer had them before i owen the car, and it was there until i part the car out. if you torque the lug bolt the right way, you never have trouble with them. that what i use to do. is not a big diference in the lug nut pattern is only 2mm. is almost like is was made for rx7.
