as you all might know, i have a 94 mustang (newer style) lx. its my beater car till i get outta college.

today it started making a metal on metal noise when i turned the wheel (mostly when i turned right). it seemed like the power steering pump was louder (not whinier) but it sounded like it worked harder when i turned right and occassionally a metal on metal noise came from the front end of my car..

called a friend, he said it might be a tie rod end..

any other suggestions ? or others with similar problems ?
