My 83 will get torn down and checked for rust this summer but it looks clean.I know there is some classic storage bin rust but I can fix it with the old mig welder.I need to wait till the end of the month before I see what I will do.I might end up with a 89 GXL as well that needs a motor in it.Make a nice daily driver if I live the AC and **** in it.IF being the key.

Intresting, any rust on the inside of the rear wheel arches? Look like you have a lot of body work ahead of you. Have fun.
There is a little bit in the wheel arches, but not too much to stress about. I'm more worried about all the rust I found today in the firewall.

Where the aircon bolts on at the top is bad.

So much for the guy who sold it to me telling me on the phone there was only a 50cent size piece at the back. Oh well, at least I made him knock off $600 when I saw the rust. :smirk:
