Rust Is Bad

i have an aluminum fly wheel and a presilencer a year ago that i never got to use, but plan on using soon. i checked on their status in my garage, and there was some rust on it. what should i do? please dont tell me throw it away =(. i did get the parts for free, but i was hoping to still use em.

got any pics of your corrosion? Like said before if its surface corrosion, you can remove it to with a greeny wheenie, the little green scrubby things for dishes. If its deaper then that, remove the most you can then use possibly rust buster, never heard of it, but hey I dont know much outside of the US. First remove it, BOOK definition, nothing can stop corrosion, you can only slow it down.

hrm, when storing my crap, how do i prevent rust? it was just in my garage for a year. and bam, whole lotta rust. i dun think it got wet often, maybe some condensation and wut not, but it was relatively dry. should i vaccum pack crap?
