thats the problem with getting gas into a carb and then letting it sit, stuff gets gummed up, and it doesn't want to work right, if at all. Also, maybe a dumb question but does it have a return line from the carb? if it does, do you have them switched around? just a thought............

Yeah,Theres no return.I still have it capped off from when I had my dellorto on it.Damn weber. I want my 7 back.

How did you like your webber set up? Why did you switch to the holley?

I am swapping my 79 to a 13b with Se trans, rear end and front spindles this winter. I am trying to decide how to fuel it.

I went from a dellorto 48 DHLA carb to a weber 45 DCOE.I still need to figure out why this POS wont work tho. Has to be something small tho.The carb only has 10 hours of use on it since new.

carbs are simple, fuel goesinta the float bowl thru the jet and thru a passage into the venturi, if its not metering fuel its either not getting a vacuum signal or a passage is clogged

Webers don't run vaccum lines anywhere?I had to cap off the ones on my distributor.

Ok,I pulled the car apart yet again.The floats and internal on this thing are sqeaky clean.The fuel bowl fills up but the venturi's don't want to spray fuel.Suggestions???

I wish webers ran vaccum like my dellorto did but they don't.You can pour gas thru the carb and the engine starts then dies a second or two later tho.
