Looks like as much fun as when I first pulled my POS 12a out.Are you converting to a 12a with a manual tranny after the resto is done for awhile?
I probably will go either straight to a 13B or hopefully 20B with manual transmission after I get all the rust out. Sounds crazy I know, but I can't be arsed pulling engines in and out. The plan is to drive it sedately on the street and hard on the track for about 6 months so I build up some experience for handling the power. I don't plan on trying to kill myself.

Yeah, whats more painful is when after you find the metal plate holding the engine to the tranny that you missed when undoing the main bolts, and undo it, and it comes apart really easily, then you find that those nasty f**king four bolts that caused you a nightmare didn't HAVE to be undone, cause the torque converter slides out of the tranny.

Sounds like when I first did the engine pull on my car.First Rx I own and plan to keep it till it becomes one with the soil. I had know clue where all the bolts were to take the engine out on a rotary car.Now its easy as pie. :smirk: I still need to tackle the body and pull the interior out to see how bad it might be inside the car
