Oh yea this car is my dd (daily driver). so all the work i do is on the weekend. oh i found two black 3rd gen leather seats that i think i am going to customize into the first gen. Those seats are just so comfortable that i can't wait to have them. oh and i got two 12 inch JL speakers for my sound system. One is going behind the drivers seat underneath the sheet metal things behind the seats. The other i am giving to a friend. One 12 inch is more then enough for that car. amp behind the passengers seat. All will be sealed in with rubber to prevent metal onmetal vibration. Oh another four point is going in the passengers seat. the center bezal i think i will use fiberglass to finish and of course pics![attachment=40590:attachment] [attachment=40591:attachment]

I put the 12 inch in the car and am driving it with a blaupunkt four way amp. I was worried about the drain on the amp and battery but when i took her out for a drive it seemed alright the lights did dim a bit but not anymore then it had before... oh of course pics of how i did it.

Thanks. I thought I would get alot of heat for putting all the extra weight in the car.

hey everyone,

Sorry for not posting in a long time but i haven't had anything to say about the car. everything is alright execpt for some little things that the weber is going to fix. But now there is a new problem... the oil neck is rusting pretty bad, what do I do? Can I repace it(the neck) with a n aluminum one? Do i use a nipple off the intake manifold to vent the oil pan? also what do you all theink about using a microtech mt-4 for a fuel computer and putting a weber ida throttle body on instead of a weber the cost total for the weber w/o manifold(i already have it) is about 1000.00 with all the parts i need( fuel pump, egt system, weber carb, fuel regulator, and air filtering system) where the fuel system will cost about 600 for ecu and wiring harness 400.00 for throttle body, 100 for the fuel pump, 300 for injectors...

One more thing, lol, I NEED a GSL-SE suspension (rearend and associated front end) so I can do newer wheels and tires( my wheels are bent and at 80 mph i get a wiggle going on, not good at those speeds) where can i get it? anyone have a spare they do not want? oh yea i am here in the NW. thanks

you want to vent the nipple on the oil filler, the factory vents it into the intake, but not all the time.

efi would be a lot better than the carby, similar peak power, but the efi will have better mileage, and driveability.

If you want a great carb set up go with a racing beat intake and a 500cfm edelbrock thunder series carb.

I heard those were good but i have decided to go with the weber ida 48 with 38 mm ventries Rob at Pineapple racing is hooking me up. I am also going to do a 2nd gen alternator with Pineapples Relocation kit for that alternator. A egt system to tune the carb is also going in. a coil over on the suspension and have Fibermaz biuld me a center console and shifter surround. And yes I will have pics. The upgrades will begin in about two or three weeks so look forward to it everyone!!! Cheers
