1980, gold, gold rims, sunroof, brown leather interior. was that/there a limited/special edition 80 rx7 and does this match what it was like?

 

I like the 80 SA's.Last of the old tails but still sexy.Looking at replacing your old FB already?????Sounds like it might have dealer options or someone paid to get the gold put on it.

 

hells yeah. although i acquired an FD 2 weeks ago. i really feel like a part of me is missing without an FB. i was telling my friends, FBism flows through my veins.

although theres a 90T2 engine for a really good price locally nad a friend of mines has a early 70s 4 door 510 for sale. that wouldnt be such a bad thing either...

 

yah gold rims were a special edition thing. is it black or gold on the outside? i think thay had 2 special editions, the 10th anny and the leather sport, but im foggy on what they cam with

yes, there was a limited edition in 80. I think the badge was ls or ls on the pillar near the door. I have a gold waffle rim from one. I stripped a wrecked 80 for parts when I first got my 79. It had the leather interior.
