this kid i kno round here is selling a 1st gen.

its a 1985 rx7 12a rotary,stick

new brakes,rotors,radiator

flywheel,primered w/bodykit 130k original



now i know you fellas know a lot botu thsi so im wondering is this a good deal.



I want to buy it cause i had a 3rd gen and I still got the motor from that, but the motor is off of an automatic. Now i konw I can put it in but what kind of tranny do I need. I also got all of the parts left from the fd.



If anyoen can reply as soon as possible id appreciate it.

i sold my 83 limited edition for i think $1100? it had a new radiator, new brakes, belts, hoses. body was good, the clear coat was peeling, interior was so/so, ran great. car was all stock.

Yah I paid 250 bucks for my 85 12a, mint interior/exterior and Im the 2nd owner with 86k on it titled. Waaaaaay too much.

i am jealous. i paid 800 and it has 217k, bad red paint, and ok burgandy leather. it also came with a few minor problems, i still think i got a good deal though.

Do you love your car? If ya do it doesnt matter what the fizzack ya paid for it, I got real lucky and found one that had been sitting for about 4 years without gettin cranked up and a so called Rotary enthusiast told the owner the motor was shot without doing any testing to it because in his words, "Those motors are crap and they wont hold up sitting all that time without being started." Yah I drove it home 3 days after seeing it
