It's all I used on my Cosmo engine. No leaks so far.

Ummmm...so can I use the 12a oil pickup? I assume it's shallower than the pickup that's on there and will fit my oil pan...

It seems like the mounting point for the pickup would hit the pan too, even if the pickup for the Cosmo was shorter.

12A and GSL-SE pickups are the same. Go for it!

Any objections to removing my heater core?

My heater core isn't even hooked up in my Cosmo project. My 13B MG project doesn't even have a heater core. I'm not sure how they'll do in cold weather since I've only driven them around the block a few times due to being incomplete projects.

By the way, it's a big B.

I like my heater so I kept it. I've even used it a few times on cold nights.

Cold weather isn't an issue, if it is, I won't drive it. =)

Will this directly effect anything else other than my comfort level? Defrosting the windshield won't be an issue either...
