Are you really going bridgy? If so half or full? I don't know if your turbo is big enough for a full bridge.

Right now I will be working with the stock ports. Soon down the road I will be getting the engine rebuilt. There is a list of other things that I want to do first however. Ie Drivetrain etc.

I have considered bridging the motor. However I am not sure that I want to do that. I ultimatley want the setup to be as reliable as possible. Therefore bridging is kind of on the risky side. I have to admit that the power would be a huge advantage though.

I will probably just go with a street port and open the exhaust ports. Who knows though...I will cross that bridge when I get there.

I got over 600 worth of parts last night. I will be working like mad the next few weeks to get them installed.

I will post pictures as I progress.

Ok, I have been working on the gauge pod that will hold the Boost gauge. Gauge is a Autometer Procomp 2 5/8". Proved to be a tight fit.

Pod is completely custom. And (me being the **** person I am) I am not fully happy with the outcome. I plan to make a fiberglass mimick in the future, however this will have to do until the car is complete.

Well to tell you the truth it was not that hard. I did exactly what the 13BT guys do. I took my SE front cover and oil pan and swapped them with the 3rd gen front cover. This allowed me to use the stock cross member and the stock bolt location.

The tranny however required some custom mounts. I did a hybrid mount between the Stock mount and the S5 mount(I used a S5 tranny). I used the upper section of a S5 mount and custom made a couple plates that set between the tranny and the lower stock mount. This allowed for my pinion angles to be equal. The thickness of this piece was .5". I then drilled a hole to accept the upper mount. I then slid through the lower mount and I place a bolt with a couple of washers.

I am planning on having the car up and running by April 1st. There is a dyno day here locally that I would really like to go to.

This week will be a big week, a lot of my parts are coming in so I should be able to put a large amount of it together.

Right on Adrian. Can't wait to see her up and going.

Ok got a lot done yesterday. Here are a few pictures of the most interest stuff.

The radiator is custom 17"x13", 3 row, best radiator core on the market.

Exhaust is 3" that goes to 3.5" sprint car silencer and then to a 3.5" magnaflow race muffler, and heat wrapped.

And then the engine bay, that is pretty much where it sets as of now. I still have a couple of small things to do, ie boost lines to run.

Enjoy,

How does that exhaust fit over the axle? Pretty snug?

ummmm....it doesn't. It is a shorty exhaust. Here are a few more pictures. Please take in mind that the exhaust is really about 4" off the ground. For some reason in the picture it makes it look like to it less. If the exhaust is too loud I will add more to it later. I don't really want to go over the axle though.
