That black cover you have over the IC, is that going to be blocking any air?? Just curious, it looks really amazing what you have done so far. Good job man!
The support does not block the IC. I made the supports so that it would not. There is approx .25" that are covered. However there is space above the IC that will allow for the air to escape.

That's pretty much how I imagined in h or vmount would look...very nice man. I look forward to the completion (well, it will never be complete) er progress of your car .
Yeah V-mount would be slightly more efficient granted that you could a. have a smaller IC and b. vent the hood properly. Getting an IC is no problem however venting the hood is a little more complex. A lot of time was taken to ensure that the cuts were made directly above the IC.
As far as completion goes you are right...never done.
I just heard however there was a guy with pretty much my setup that put down 420 at 13-14psi. His setup was running a streetport. I am pretty excited with that.

you've got an AWESOME project going there, Z-Beater. i love it. keep the pics coming.
by the way, Brown has grown on me enough now for to consider it sexy. when i repaint my car, it's staying Brown - just maybe a darker shade.

You know about 4-5 years ago I was looking at about 3 different 7's. Two were white(both SA's) and then this one popped up. I had no clue what it even was....never heard of a GSL-SE. But it was brown...damn. For about 300 more I picked up a car that a. had no rust(thank you ziebart) b. was Fuel injected c. disc brakes and d. all the other little things inside the car.
I was young though and a little scared to drive around a car that was the color of my own fecal matter. Well I found out that you can't see the exterior when you are inside the car. Soon after the color grew on me and I started to like it. Hey who knows maybe brown will come back into style.
Darker brown though...huh that is interesting. When you get your car painted I will have to see it. I remember brown mounds looked very nice when it was painted and he just had the stock paint.
Anyway thank for the compliment.

keep it brown, just do a jet black leather interior. make it a brown pearl, that would be sick
Well I plan on keeping the interior as sock as possible. I really do not want to make this car look like it is modern. Also believe it or not but the stock brown actually has a little bit of metal flake in it. If re-painted I might throw in a little pearl. That is a long ways down the road though.
