Very nice job. And the brown is not that bad.

I did not put up a very good picture but the IC is so large that it blocks the entire front of the rad. People have had success with this setup before but I am what they call a little ****.

I have decided to go v-mount. I will post pictures when I get it done. It is going to be a tight fit but everything should fit in there.

I was very eager to do this with my setup, but with the NPR (large) intercooler I got, I couldn't engineer an effective way to place my GSL-SE oil cooler and stock aluminum rad in a config so they would all have equal access to cool air...

I am glad that you said this. I will take a couple seconds to comment on my setup. I actually ran into the same problem as you. The radiator will set between the lower part of the plastic piece and the tube support. The IC will be opposing it as well.

Now for the IC...this is where the real problems come in. I plan on running the oil cooler right smack dab in the middle of the two other components. The reason that I decided to go this way is because primarily I wanted to make sure that there was enough air flow between the two. The oild cooler is relitivley small in size. I do not have it here with me but IIRC it can't be more than 3" tall. The opening for the v-mount spans the entire mouth of the front end. probably near 20". There should be more than enough air flow for the car to stay cool. I also plan on having a set of fans on the rad so that will help as well.

But here is a question. Should I but the fans on top or bottom of the rad. I would feel more comfortable with them on top because then they will not be hanging. Takes a lot more force for me to lose a fan. I have seen both setups. All were on 3rd gens though. Not too many people put a v-mount on the 1st gen.

It's cause vmounts are lame and you need room for them, which we don't really have. And Hahha haha your car is brown!!! j/k

Yes, I agree there is not too much room up front. And this is the major obstacle to overcome.

Also yes my car is brown, wanna race when I am done and fully tuned running 15lbs? Oh heck I will run 12 for you and your webber https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

It should be fun whooping on vipers and c6 Z06's. I will have to see if I can get some vids. Sad thing is that I am not much of a racer and there are really not too many of those cars here in Olympia.
