I know that this is my second post but when it comes down to it I am getting really tired of the BS that is going on with the other forum. So I thought I'd give you folks a try.

I posted a write-up for a ebay ssautochome IC into a GSL-SE. I hope it helps some people.

So....Here is my project.

Please keep in mind that these are not the most current. For some reason I can no longer load my pictures from my camera. I will solve this and post some new ones though.

I am pretty confident that I will get about 400rwhp with about 15psi. 450 at higher psi with water/methanol.

Enjoy!

Well thanks guys. It is actually funny that you mention that they are not that rare. The only Brown first gens I see are GSL-SE's. Funny how that works. The most expensive model is the color of our poo.

Well I have come to love my brown car. Makes for a perfect sleeper. I used to own a 95 z28 vert. I would always get little ricers trying to race me. Don't get me wrong I like the spirited jaunt every once and a while but you have to keep it safe.

Thanks for the heads up about the pictures. I will head over there and post them.

Z

Yea i think sidewinders old se was that color, but i cant remember, I know of one that used to be out in lake stevens/everett as well, i used to see him all the time. My se was black with red pinstripes, my gsl was gold with a black stripe on the hood, which i havent seen before or since.

Hi Zzzzzz

Hey I decided that I may be joining you and switching my blue over to Turbo instead of having her Supercharged. I want to try to do this before ABF or I guess one more ABF with the blower wouldnt be too bad. Not that I want to copy you or anything but could you send me a list of what stuff you had to buy to make your change over. I have no idea about Turbos. I think the person that wants to help me with the changeover said something about a T-66. Do you think thats an ok turbo for my blue car? Im going to start reading up on turbo stuff here shortly. Never can have enough knowledge.

Your setup looks awesome. I guess we wont be shrink wrapping your car this year huh...lol time to find another victim.

Yeah no prob. I can help you out as much as you need. I have been looking into turbos for about 6 months now. I came from the same world as you...well kind of (na v8). I had no experience and just read and read and read.

When I get back tonight Ill send you a PM with all my mods and wny I ran them. Any problems that I forsee etc.

As far as a t-66 that is one big puppy. I think that it is about equivalent to mine but I have never seen one in person. All I know is that my turbo is about as big as my head..lol I think that someone is running a t-66 on a FI 12a and is hoping for 400rwhp. When it comes fdown to it there are a bunch of factors that play into getting a turbo.

Thanks, The turbo is a af61. There are a couple dyno sheets that have been posted over at rx7club that say approx 420 at 15psi. The only problem that I can see with this turbo is that at 18psi they say that it is at 82% efficiency. Meaning that you will probably max it out at 21 or so and anything after that you will just be creating heat.

However since my car is strictly stree use I wanted something that would spool somewhat quick and still have the potential to get high hp numbers. This was the turbo for me. I think that it reaches full boost(15psi) around 3700-3800RPM. What do the stock TT do? I think that is is right around there.
