I bought my 79' about 2 months ago. 110,000 miles Car runs beautifull except for a few oil leaks and a stalling problem as soon as the choke opens.

So I decide to fix the oil leaks. The first leak was the oil cooler. So I take it out and have it send to be tested and welded. I figures since the car will be of fthe road a few days that I would put some Marvel Mystery Oil in the engine to clean it up. Well the oil cooler could'nt be fixed so i had to get a used one. Long story short car sat for 2 weeks with MMO in it. I did rotate the engine daily though. So I put the oil cooler in, next leak is the OMP lines. For now I decide to just disable the OMP and premix.

I get the car started lots of smoke for a few min, then clears up. I go for a ride through the neighborhood, everything seems fine. Next morning drive 4 miles to work and I notic ethe car is stumbling. I figure the plugs are shot from the MMO. So i change the plugs, and the oil while I'm at it. Start the car runs fine go home.

Thismorning I notice some smoke from the exhaust. If I gradually bring the car up to speed it's fine, if I floor it I go into james bond mode!!!!!.

Here's what I did that may have caused this if it's not the oil seals.

I added 6 oz of premix to 6 gallons of gas I put in the car(allmost empty tank)

I *may* have put in an extra qt of oil becouse I was allowing for an empty oil cooler

Now today I added 10 more gallons of gas to the tank, drained the oil and filled up to correct levelbefore my ride home. Still had the smoke problem.

I just took it out on the highway (dark out) and beat the hell out of it. I did'nt notice any smoke from the headlights of the car behind me.

Could the MMO in the engine so long hurt anything?

Was it too much oil in the Pan?

was it too much premix in the gas?

Maybe the mmo did'nt burn off completly in the short drives I did?

Help Please, I don't want to hear that after 2 months of owning this car the engine is shot

I would say too much oil in the pan, you didnt burn all the MMO out, and maybe a tad bit too much 2 stroke in there.
