Oil Leak

I have bad oil leak on the front of my motar. its pretty bad a nice smoke cloud comes out if i sit at a light for a while or any thing. ive been told its the front main seal leaking but was wondering what your guys thoughts would be since you all are die hard rex fans.

Your engine is pleading with you for a set of fresh seals. Don't let your engine go too long without a rebuild. Broken apex seals are avoidable, and the rebuild is much cheaper if they remain intact.



I know that's not what you wanted to read. you were hoping for a cheap, quick fix. You need to realise that if the front eccentric seal is leaking due to age, there will be similar amounts of age related soft seal degridation elsewhere in the engine. It's only a matter if time.



Do yourself a favor and spend a little now on a gasket set, oil O rings, apex seals and springs instead of a lot more later on all of the above as well as rotors, rotor housings, side plates etc.

proly doesnt help that it has 222578miles on it.
