The Mazdatrix oil lines I overpaid for came in handy. Oh well, at least that makes my Mazdatrix tag frame not so ricey.

If you're good at fabricating parts and have all the tools and materials handy then put the oil cooler where ever you want. I opted for the smaller radiator because it was a bolt-together job and I didn't hafta fabricate anything. Years ago I was an engineer for a machine fabrication company.... too bad I lost contact with them 'cause I could use some Bridgeport work nowadays. Anyway... if you're concerned about your IC, oil/cooler and radiator fighting for air, I'd recommend going with how I did it. It'll also save you some space for the IC in front of the radiator. OBTW, the radiator I got from www.radiators.com is a real nice unit. No plastic.

You got pics of your rad?how much was it ..and was it aluminum like they advertise in the magazines?

Mine hangs down under the radiator, but it is also behind it at the same time. The oil lines I had are for an FC, and were expensive as ****, so I wanted to use them.

There is a fuckload of room for a FMIC.

Ok tight..I been looking at this FMIC off of a Volvo Turbo 740...

and yes I got the tools to make brakets etc..

Snapon die grinder...

Ryobi Cordless 12v drill..**** I wouldnt need much else...

This is why for 1 reason I dont want to get back into mechanics..cause my tools are here..and easy acces

BTW Felix Wankel,

Did you remove the paint and polish that one out?

Cause the oil cooler I saw is black..At this point its an oil cooler..and I can get the lines made...and was plan on getting them made...So it will fit..

Im getting off this water cooled oil cooler under the filter and going air cooled..
