What's the bearing/spacer problem? I just need the front cover bolt off to swap the covers, and now that I got it off, I don't remember there being a bearing OR a spacer in there...

I dont have to deal with that...I am not taking the motor apart...Just swapping the front cover and oil pan

If your undoing the front nut you have to be aware that it can slip if the engine tips forward wether your taking the motor apart or not.

alright i went out and checked, and the eccentric shaft has float front to back, so the bearing is fine. Thanks for the heads-up though!

No probs. My 12a engine has been tipped every whichway, so I'm pretty sure I've most likely buggered it. Good thing I got a 13BT for its place.
