I have a '85 GSL-SE that is missing a part that is referred to the chamber in the service manual. (lost in rebuild) I need to know what it does, and if I really need it.

It's located under the RE-EGI and has 2 vacuume lines connected to it. The manual only shows a picture, but no explanation or description.

Please help.

oh its just a hollow chamber, its prolly there as a damper for the bac valve. just bypass it, or make one, its about 2"x1" around
