I hate not being able to drive my car. is there anywhere other then a junkyard were i can get one today?

today? doubt it. try calling around see if any autoparts stores (or dealerships) have one. sit down first though, the price is atronomical

Move the trailing ignitor over to the leading side of the dizzy and keep driving. Then you can get another for the trailing side whenever.

no part stores around here have them in stock so I ordered one from advanced auto parts should have it by wednesday. I was ******* shocked when I saw that little pos was $140.

craigslist.org sf bay area....There was this guy selling 3 igniters a couple days ago

It's kind of crazy that you can get a NEW HEI ignitor for under $20 when even a used J109 will run you around $50.



I wonder how hard it would be for someone to make an adapter plate that bolts onto the dizzy? For people that want to use the cheaper (and easier to find) HEI ignitors without the hassle of re-wiring for DLIDFIS.
