holley vacuum leak help

hola,First time poasting and my english is not very good hope we can understand each other;Well I a have a holley 600CFM vacuum sec. but i do the mechanical thing ;i was fine tunig it and check for a vacuum leak spray carb. cleaner around the throttle body and when i get to the throttle link of the sec.the car try to shut off,then i put some soap water wiht bubbles in the area and the carb.vacuum's in all of it.How can i fix it? Also my mixure screw have some marks on it that means that they tight to much and i have to buy new one's; but That mean's that the metering block is damege?

Welcome to the forum..



Take the carb out and check the carb and manifold with a straight edge. It needs to be bolted down evenly or warping and leaks can happen.



Check the mixture screws by closing them with the engine running, if the engine stalls then they still work.



Mechanically operating a vac secondary carb isnt very good. You need to over-compensate with the accell pump/shooters
