I JUST BOUGHT A REBUILT 13B FROM A TII FOR MY TURBOCHARGED FIRST GEN. THE ENGINE SMOKES ALL THE TIME EXCEPT WHEN I'M ACCELERATING. WHEN I AM ON THE GAS IT DOESN'T SMOKE AT ALL. I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON. ANY REPLIES WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

um it could be the turbo, or the pcv system, or the motor.

Sounds like the rebuild might not have been a good one.But as mike said could be the turbo or pcv system

if its burning coolant you need to do a pressure test of the cooling system, pretty much the only thing it could be is the motor though.

you pressureize the cooling system, and see where its leaking from

Well, run the car like normal.Empty your overflow bottle(the one that is connected to the rad with a rubber pipe)Leave it over night without driving. The next morning, unscrew your leading plugs.Check if there is some signs of coolant on the plugs(anti freeze or water)

If there is, the the innner water seals are blown. This can be a result of overheating,or age of the water seals.

To replace these, you will have to take the engine apart.

Hope this helped.

if the smoke is white its coolant and if it black its oil

The best time for the coolant test is in the morning when you engine is cold and also when you find out that its a bad motor who know that "man today will be a crappy day becuase I need a new motor".

what can i say some times you can get bad ones
