So I bought an FB from a guy who just said it was having carb issues. I cleaned the carb and its still not developing power. If I cruise in fourth gear with the pedal damn near to the floor ill maybe be doing 60mph at about 4k rpm. any ideas?

 

This is an old post but who knows if you ever fixed it? I had a similar problem when I bought my car. Secondaries where not opening on carb.

 

If your secondaries arn't working you have a vaccume line blockage , is easier to wire them up so they work mechanicly ,
