There are no "swap kits". What is wrong with your 12a? why not turbo that? It takes a little more than 1600 for a REW swap...trust me...

$1600 is a tight budget, but if you already have an REW and a TII tranny you could probably do it. Research and buy your ECU first, that's probably the most expensive thing. A Haltech, harness, and sensors will run you over $1000 but you could put together a Megasquirt on the cheap in a pinch.

A driveshaft would cost about $300, and you really need a better radiator than stock first gen, which can get pricey.

Other than that it can be done with sourced/junkyard parts. You need a 12a front cover, GSL-SE oil pan, FC water-pump and housing, an FD flywheel.

the front cover is the rounded off thing in front of the first iron. it covers the oil pump and chain. you need that so that the motor mounts to the chassis.

I cannot speak to that but on my swap (SE front cover) there were a couple bolt holes that did not match up. Seals just fine.
