[quote name='FB MAZDATURBO' date='Jun 30 2005, 02:38 PM']My only problem with running the first gen cover is the oil pan i would have to build one. I want to stay with the crank trigger setup on the 3rd gen motor i also got the complete harness so i will be running the aem pnp system to runn the motor with electric omp and everything just a single turbo conversion on the motor

I'll have to look into that, I know my SE pan bolts right up to the 2nd gen 13 but not sure about 3rd. Ive seen the crank trigger setup on a 1st gen on a car at Rotary Performance in Garland (rx7.com) but would have to shoot Ari an email and ask. Chris there is very knowledgable as well and would be glad to lend a hand.

Well I found a third gen project car that some one started to build got like 15k into the car then it got vandalized so they gave up on it. If i already didnt have 20k into my car i would just build the third gen but too much invested in my car to give it up. I bought this project car for the built Pinapple racing motor and the intake maninfold the transmission, wiring harness all the running gear but the rear diff. I split the cost of the project car (3rdgen) with a buddy of mine that wants the body and interior for LS-1tt car. Got all the other parts i need for the full swap from the third gen to first. I am also gonna do the second gen front subframe swap so i have the room to make motor mounts. I fabricate daily and i really enjoy the challenges of this kinda work. The motor has no turbo system on it right now the kid sold all of that before i could get it from him, everything is ceramic coated that should be water pump housing,t-stat housing the rotors and housings with the irons, oil galley mods are done cooling system mods are done too this should be a really bad *** motor I talked with Rob from Pinapple and he said since it has sat for awhile to go into it and make sure all the apex and side seal springs are still okay and that there is no rust but i didnt know the motor was ceramic coated till i went and looked at the car and got shown the reciept for the motor. Performance clutch all of it. But i got some sponser ship in the clutch department so i will not be using the one in the car.

let me know after you do the swap, I got so many 4lug wheels laying around right now, that if I went 5 lug they would be rendered useless and my old lady would probably freak If I told her i was buying more...........I need some time to throw more on ebay.

well you couold run the four lug hubs and rotors on the strut housing and it should be fine so you could run you four lug stuff if it is the large four lug and if it isnt i can get you some big 4 rear axles i think
